Feurich Flygel Model 162

This Feurich 162 baby grand piano is the smallest among our elegant and popular quality grand pianos. This fantastic little grand piano surprises everyone with its large bass in relation to its size. Its tonal range is smooth and round and nicely voiced. A new feature in the grand piano is the use of stainless Paulello string wire, which improves the tone and longevity of the piano. The pin block, where the tuning pins are attached, is multi-laminated and climate-resistant. The action mechanism is quick and gives a distinct touch.

A long LED light is mounted in the music shelf, gently illuminating the sheet music from below.

There are three pedals – una corda (moves the action mechanism so the hammer hits only 2 strings (3), sustenuto (partly note sustain pedal) and legato (sustains notes).

Inbuilt LED lighting

with white light in the music shelf is an innovation introduced in the past year. It illuminates the sheet music from below, enhancing the contrast between the black notes and the white paper, making them easier to see. This lighting can be nicely combined with an additional light attached to the music shelf to provide illumination from above as well. You can find these under Accessories in our webshop.

The Feurich grand piano Model 162 is available in various wood finishes.

Black and white polished finishes are the most common. Bordeaux and walnut are also available to order.

We can also install the Feurich Silencer System as an option if you wish to play with headphones without disturbing your surroundings.
