A silent system
With a built-in Silencer system – a silent system in your acoustic upright piano/grand piano, you can play late into the night without disturbing the neighbours. You have to experience the distinct touch when the keys are struck and it is completely silent outside the headphones.
I can travel all over Sweden and install silent systems in your upright or grand piano. With the silencer system, you can play without using the hammers. Instead of creating sound by striking the strings, a signal from the key is sent to a module where a digital sound is instead produced. This sound can then be heard in your headphones so you can play without disturbing others.
Key touch is not affected by installing the system. The standard silent system works for almost all instruments. However, it does not work on small chamber pianos due to space limitations.
You can also play both acoustically and digitally at the same time, e.g. both piano/flute or piano/pipe organ. There are 128 pre-programmed sounds in the module.
There are recording options and a metronome available with the module.
How much does this cost then? As prices change all the time, please contact us for current prices. Home installation, which takes 2 days, means an additional SEK 5,000 is charged for travel costs and accommodation.
We always have a system installed in one of our pianos in our showroom so you can try it out and experience the benefits of a silent system. The system is covered by a 5-year factory warranty and I will personally fix the system if there is a problem.
This rocker switch that sends the signal to the sound module is now replaced with an optical sensor that registers key movement using a light beam. This improve sensitivity considerably.
The sound memory is optimised from 384 Mb to 512 Mb. The polyphony is also optimised from 128 poly to 256 poly.
